RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning models with a focus on large language models (LLMs).
- Optimize AI models and systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Build and refine recommendation engines and generative AI systems.
- Conduct LLM assessment, including systematic validation, benchmarking of LLMs and prompt injections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring AI solutions to production.
- Implement ML-assisted data processing, labeling, and distillation techniques.
- Ensure AI systems comply with security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with the latest AI trends and technologies to apply innovative solutions to business problems.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on AI best practices.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of AI architecture, design decisions, and workflows.
REQUIREMENTS:
- LanguageGOOD English OR Japanese
- 2+ years of hands-on experience developing AI and data products.
- Strong experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and NLP frameworks/libraries (e.g., Gensim, SpaCy).
- Proficiency with the modern data science stack, including Python, NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, and Jupyter/Colab notebooks.
- Experience taking AI ideas to production and familiarity with cloud platforms
- Knowledge of Deep Learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras.
- Experience in machine learning software stacks involving deep neural networks, optimization, simulation, and ETL processes.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI, prompting techniques, vector databases, embeddings, fine-tuning, and agentic systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data warehouses, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with LLM safety testing and developing defense mechanisms against vulnerabilities (e.g., prompt injections).
- Familiarity with fairness assessments in AI systems.
- Experience with LLM guardrails and safety tools like NeMo, LLM-Guard.
- Experience with building NLP and NLU models using state-of-the-art algorithms (BERT, Transformer, etc.).
