JOB DETAILS: The ESL teaching assistant position supports classes taught by native English-speaking teachers, participating in classroom instruction and guiding students from 5 PM to 9 PM on weekdays and in morning or afternoon/evening shifts on weekends. Duties include reviewing previous lessons, checking homework, and providing tutoring and support to students who are struggling or need extra help.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:- ESL Teaching Assistant: Support native English-speaking teachers' classes as assigned.
- During the week: Teaching classes and providing student support (Tutoring) from 5 PM to 9 PM.
- Weekends: Teach classes in the morning shift (8:00 AM – 11:50 AM) or the afternoon/evening shift (2:00 PM – 8:00 PM).
- Opening activity (20 minutes): Review previous lessons according to the planned schedule and check students' homework.
- Tutoring: Directly guiding and supporting students who are struggling or need additional knowledge.
- Monitor, summarize, and evaluate the learning progress of each student at the center.
- Complete the learning progress report forms (regular and ad-hoc).
- Proactively monitor and propose academic meetings with native-speaking instructors to suggest the best ways to support students.
- Professional training and support from management are provided through training sessions to improve interaction with parents and student re-enrollment.
- Work closely with teachers and the academic department to ensure consistent communication and promptly address any feedback from parents.
- Maintain regular contact with parents to keep them updated on their child's learning progress, results, and feedback from class. Build strong relationships with students to enhance their positive learning experience.
- Ensure that the monthly KPIs for student re-enrollment rates are met.
REQUEST:- Education: University/College graduate (Preference given to recent graduates seeking full-time employment).
- Experience: Experienced in tutoring children and possesses classroom management skills.
